  There are two tennis courts, a basketball court and an exercise area with mechanical exercise machines for any age over about 12. All recently refurbished or built. The children's play area is excellent with a full range of swings and slides and a couple of more innovative modern items. There is also 'death' slide which looks great fun. A short distance from the main play park is an assault course for older children with a new skate park and some other new built items. All this is surrounded by a Bowls Club, a sports pavilion, a cricket and archery pitch (both have clubs) and a full size football pitch with practice area for the local club.
